"From this place in my life, I can tell you life is a journey. There are few straight
paths, but there are plenty of turns in the road and obstacles to overcome. My
path has brought me to this work. My goal is to help you on your journey from
wherever you have come from to wherever you are right now. The way forward is
found here in the present. Unlocking who you are in the present is the key to
unlocking the path to your future."
Betsy came to Bonding and Behavior after a long and fulfilling career in education.
Having worked with all ages from preschool to adults, she welcomes everyone to
her practice. Betsy has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in communication. She
returned to Colorado State University in 2022 to complete her Master’s of Social Work

Betsy’s personal and professional journey has led her to a desire to work with
individuals who are experiencing difficulties connected to trauma. Her focus is on
healing, empowerment, and moving from surviving to thriving. She works with a
wide variety of mental health issues including depression, anxiety, PTSD,
suicidality, and OCD. She also provides support for those facing new and/or
difficult transitions such as changes in school, family life, career, pregnancy, loss,
health, and retirement. Betsy uses a variety of approaches in her practice with an
emphasis on those that connect the body and the mind. She also believes in the
power of nature to help heal the body and the mind.
