Shandra has returned to Bonding and Behavior after time away to expand her skills as a trauma therapist in Oregon, followed by work as a medical social worker. Prior to this Shandra and Cassandra worked collaboratively throughout Colorado in community mental health and within Bonding and Behavior to pioneer accessibility to trauma-specialized care, alternative/holistic modalities and cutting edge evidenced based treatments for approximately 5 years. "Trauma can have an impact on many parts of your life causing feelings of stress, anxiety, depression and at times, physical pain and discomfort. Luckily, you do not have to go through this alone. As your therapist I will work with you to ease and integrate feelings of stress, anxiety, and pain towards a brighter future healing both the mind and body.
I have specialized training and experience in trauma-informed care, working with individuals with developmental disabilities, and assisting those navigating grief and loss. I utilize modalities that integrate mind-body awareness and internal exploration. Furthermore, my work as a medical social worker has solidified my commitment to holistic treatment."
